at bulthaup Herrnstraße

After extensive renovation work, retail partner Bulthaup München GmbH is opening an extraordinary new showroom in Herrnstraße, Munich.

bulthaup presents itself here in an unconventional, modern and experimental way. The architects of the building, Herzog & de Meuron, have created a transparent architecture whose generous, open spaces make the fascinating possibilities of the architecture of product and living space visible from the outside.
Colored bulthaup b3 blocks invite the viewer to experience the kitchen from a completely different perspective; they direct the eye into the showroom and onto the open office structure.

The focus is on the interaction between people and products. However, the unconventionally planned showroom also demonstrates the unusually versatile and surprising planning possibilities with bulthaup and creates a lively and differentiated atmosphere. Classical kitchen planning conventions are broken down almost playfully. While the ground floor shows the interaction between people and products, the focus in the basement is on bulthaup products in a more classic environment.

Either way, the clear design concept remains typical of bulthaup: The sensuality of the surfaces, the subtle play of colors and grains in the veneers, the seamlessly welded stainless steel front, the aluminum anodized using the special bulthaup process, the different proportions, the perfection of workmanship down to the smallest detail and the timeless design.
