Cooking for children

at bulthaup Herrnstraße

In cooperation with the international St. George's School (The English International School) a very special cooking event took place in Munich.
Sixteen 3rd grade students swapped their textbooks for cooking aprons and cooking spoons, and lessons were moved to bulthaup Herrnstraße.

Together with Petra Wiedemann, an enthusiastic hobby chef and bulthaup customer, the little chefs learned how much fun it is to prepare their own food and how delicious healthy food tastes. For Petra Wiedemann, healthy and conscious nutrition is a particular concern.
As the mother of two children, who also attend St. George's School, she delighted the young students with her colourful recipes. The day started healthy with a real vitamin bomb made from fresh berries in the form of a red smoothies.

8 of the young cooks proved that children also like spinach while cooking green spinach dumplings. The other group proved their cooking talent by preparing a juicy carrot-orange salad. For refreshment in between,
Mrs. Wiedemann prepared a green smoothie, the contents of which the children were allowed to guess in a funny riddle. For dessert there was an ice cream smoothie, made from red berries or orange mango.

An instructive day for the children, who learned a lot about healthy nutrition through fun and games. Equipped with bulthaup's children's apron and cooking turner, as well as the day's recipes, the young cooking talents can now prepare healthy and delicious food at home with their parents and show them what they have learned on this extraordinary school day at bulthaup.
